The Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to equip learners with the essential skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to workplace emergencies. You will learn the role and responsibilities of a First Aider, how to assess incidents safely, and how to take prompt, appropriate action when it matters most.
This course focuses on core life-saving techniques, including managing casualties who are unconscious (breathing or not breathing), choking, having seizures, bleeding, or suffering from shock. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to act quickly and effectively in a range of emergency situations.
Emergency First Aid Work
Course Duration: 6 Hours - £105 per person - min 2 required
The First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training for individuals who are responsible for responding to emergencies in the workplace. You will gain a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of a First Aider, how to assess incidents safely and effectively, and how to respond promptly and confidently in a wide range of emergency situations.
The course covers essential life-saving skills, including managing unconscious casualties (both breathing and not breathing), choking, seizures, heavy bleeding, shock, burns and scalds, chest injuries, poisoning, anaphylaxis, and major medical emergencies. You will also learn how to treat minor injuries, eye injuries, and suspected bone, muscle, joint, head, neck, and spinal injuries, ensuring you are fully prepared to handle both serious and minor incidents in the workplace.
First Aid at Work
Course Duration: 18 Hours - £250 per person - min 2 required
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is designed for those who work with or care for infants and children and need the skills to respond confidently in an emergency. You will learn the role and responsibilities of a Paediatric First Aider, including how to assess emergency situations, prioritise actions, and understand the essential contents of a first aid kit.
This course covers vital life-saving skills for infants and children, including how to respond to a casualty who is unresponsive (breathing or not breathing), choking, having a seizure, bleeding, or suffering from hypovolaemic shock. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence and knowledge to act quickly and effectively in paediatric emergencies.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Course Duration: 6 Hours - £105 per person - min 2 required
The Paediatric First Aid course is designed for anyone responsible for the care of infants and children, providing the knowledge and confidence to respond safely and effectively in emergencies. You will learn the role and responsibilities of a Paediatric First Aider, how to assess situations, prioritise actions, understand the contents of a first aid kit, and the importance of recording incidents.
The course covers essential emergency skills, including managing unresponsive casualties (breathing or not breathing), choking, seizures, asthma and allergic reactions including anaphylaxis, bleeding, shock, fractures, head, neck and back injuries, foreign objects, eye injuries, poisoning, bites and stings, burns and scalds, electric shock, and the effects of extreme heat or cold.
Paediatric First Aid
Course Duration: 12 Hours - £200 per person - min 2 required
The First Aid Renewal course is designed for those whose existing first aid qualification is due to expire and who need to revalidate their skills and certification. It refreshes essential knowledge, reinforces confidence, and ensures you remain compliant with current workplace first aid requirements.
This course revisits core life-saving skills, including managing unconscious casualties, CPR, choking, bleeding, shock, and responding to common medical emergencies. It ensures you stay up to date with best practice and continue to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Renewals
Course Duration: 12 Hours - £200 per person - min 2 required
The First Aid Refresher Training course is ideal for those who wish to refresh their knowledge between full qualifications. It helps reinforce existing skills, boost confidence, and ensure First Aiders remain prepared to act quickly and effectively in an emergency.
This training revises key techniques such as CPR, unconscious casualties, choking, bleeding, shock, and common medical emergencies. It is a practical, hands-on update designed to keep skills sharp and responses confident.
Refresher Training
Course Duration: 3 Hours - £70 per person
Ensure your workplace is always compliant with health and safety regulations with our 3-year complaince plans. It is necessary for first aiders to renew their qualification every 3 years. In addition, it is recommended that qualification holders should attend annual refresher training to maintain their skills, so that they are ready for any incident.
Our compliance plans provide the initial course, annual refresher training, and the renewal course at the end of the term.
